Do you need to prioritize yourself, increase your body acceptance and give yourself more self-care and love? Then this workshop is for you. We will explore together how you can create more love for yourself in your everyday life. The workshop requires no prior knowledge.

We will review tools for providing self-care and self-love. We will do this through mini-presentations, dialogue, body relaxation and writing exercises, where you turn the focus towards your inner self, followed by practice through dance. We will touch on body ideals, norms, expectations and how this helps to influence our own being in the body and our lives. We will practice being in our body and surroundings through body relaxation with a special focus on accepting the body and sending love to ourselves.

We want to focus on what self-care looks like for you and through reflection tasks, you will have the opportunity to look at how you can use different tools depending on your income.

We work with burlesque as a body-liberating and self-loving activity, where femininity and sensuality are given room to unfold. Through movement, we work with our body image and create calmness in the body. The purpose is not to change the body, but instead to practice sending love to it and accepting it exactly as it is.

The aim of the workshop is that you can slow down and immerse yourself in yourself and be offered various tools to create an awareness of self-care and practice self-love, which can contribute to a more calm, present and sensual everyday life.

This workshop will be both therotical followed by a sensual seduction class with Miss EmmaRald.

The workshop is for everyone – regardless of age, gender, size, ethnicity etc.

Meet the teacher

Helene Dam Fleischer (she/her) based in Copenhagen. On a daily basis, Helene is a sex educator at Sex & Samfund. In addition, she is a folk high school teacher at Ubberup Højskole, where she primarily teach sex, body, norms, self-love and dance. Burlesque has contributed to Helenes own self-loving development and sexual liberation. On top of all this Helene have a bachelor's degree in psychology and philosophy and theory of science.
